Years ago, during a trip to South Africa,
I met a family of Israel-loving Gentiles. From them I learned to see Jesus of Nazareth - Yeshua - as the best friend of my nation, and not the greatest enemy, as I was raised to believe.

After the initial shock and despite my deep resistance, I realized that He is the Jewish Messiah, who is waiting eagerly to return home, to His brothers and sisters.

Since then I discovered another love: to see my beloved nation Israel relating to God not as a bereaved widow, but as an excited bride, and to see the Gentiles taking their powerful position in this process of restoration.

This blog is about…

Israel, and her widowhood, or rather her restoration from a status of a bereaved and ruined nation, into a glorious Bride.

What makes her a widow? Is that how God sees her? Is He really commanding us to pray for peace in Jerusalem? And what does He want those who love Israel and her children to do on her behalf?

This is what this blog is all about. I will share here insights, prayer points and personal stories from the Land. Register here, and find your crucial place alongside Israel, at such a time as this.
