This past Tuesday we finished our series on Evil and Suffering.
Bottom line: God is the creator of all things. And He always has a good and loving purpose behind what may seem to us overwhelming or evil. He wants us to react in very specific ways, but we usually want our suffering to end and our circumstances to change.
How than should we react? Listen to the recording of our last session on the topic.
For the time being, our meetings schedule is changing, and we will meet once a month or so. Our next session will be on April 9th. A reminder and a link to join will be posted closer to date.

In our last session, we heard the testimony of Lynn Halamish. Lynn’s son was killed 31 years ago in the Lebanon war, and today – together with her husband Asaph – she leads a therapy group of bereaved couples, whose sons were killed in Gaza. So comforting to hear how God uses our tears and suffering to heal others, providing we let suffering work its purposes in us.
Some verses that comfort me this morning – Isa. 12:1-2.
I praise you, Lord. Although you were angry with me and with my nation, your anger is turning away and you are comforting me, us. Surely God is our salvation; We will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord Himself, is our strength and defense. He IS becoming our salvation.
