In my previous post I shared about my experience in Wittenberg, and especially the Judensau – that obscene embossment found on Luther’s church.
Dr. Richard Harvey is a Messianic Jewish historian and theologian. He attended that conference, and is now leading a petition, calling for the removal of that embossment.
I would like to offer you to join us in this petition. We hope that by October of next year, when Wittenberg celebrates 500 years of Reformation, this profanity will be removed.

My dear Orna, I am praying this year will finally be the year that this abomination will finally be removed in Wittenberg…and hopefully this will jump start the removal of all the other Judensau as well. My Opi was German, his surname was Wittenberg, he was Lutheran. As his descendant, I stand against this and any and all antisemitism past and present. As a believer in Yeshua, I have repented and asked for forgiveness for mine and the sins of all my fathers before me, I stand with you and bless the apple of G-d’s eye and praise the Holy One of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (Israel). Thank you for being a watchman on the wall, Petra.

Orna, Shalom, Thank you so much for bringing the Judensau to peoples attention and promoting the petition for their removal. I wanted to sign the petition but it sends me to a Facebook link and I do not have Facebook. Is there another way? Shalom Kristi >
